IntelliCal is a schedule management system designed to cover both the quirks of a kindergarten — short, repetitive activities, no fixed teaching staff per slot — and the complexity of a high school with electives, homeroom teachers and shared labs.
A single institution, a group of institutions under one umbrella, or an entire school cluster — all run on the same shared schedule, with rules specific to each level.
Challenges
Schedules typically get built in Excel or in rigid systems that don't understand a kindergarten teacher's day is shaped differently from a high-school teacher's. Conflicts surface at integration time: the same room booked for two groups, the same teacher on two classes, or an activity that overruns the children's break.
A wrong schedule at the start of the school year costs weeks.
